Essential oils and Herbal extracts

Essential oils are volatile constituents of plants that can be extracted by steam- or hydro-distillation. They have diverse chemical structures belong to various classes of natural products. They are both insoluble in water and have enough vapor pressure to be co-evaporated in less than 100 ͦC, therefore the oil can be separated from water after condensation. The essential oils are synthesized by plants for their biotic and abiotic ecological roles, to repel or attract insects, as antimicrobial agents. The essential oils have been used from ancient time in perfumery, and also in pharmacy or in aromatherapy. We are preparing various oils specially from citrus plants that are cultivated in the Fars Province. The oils’ constituents are characterized by GC-MS and their physical constants are determined to complete the analytical data sheets. The oils prepared by our company can be used as reference substances too and for perfumery formulations or pharmaceuticals in the R &D sections of industries, research centers and universities. It is possible to order special plant for extraction of its oil.

Bergamot Essential oil
